What is a Notary

A Notary is an experienced lawyer appointed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, based on their qualifications and experience.

Bobi Damcevski is authorised to witness signatures and certify international documents.

Notary Services

  • Attestation of documents and certification of their due execution for use in Australia and internationally
  • Preparation and certification of powers of attorney, wills, deeds, contracts and other legal documents of a similar nature for use in Australia and internationally
  • Administering of oaths for use in Australia and internationally
  • Witnessing affidavits, statutory declarations and other documents for use in Australia and internationally
  • Certification of copy documents for use Australia and internationally
  • Exemplification of official documents for use internationally
  • Providing certificates as to Australian law and legal practice

Notarising a document

Documents will need to be presented in our office.  Where a person’s signature is required to be witnessed, then that person must come into our office.  Please bring with you photo identification which includes a passport and driver's licence.

If all you need is a copy certified as a true copy of original, then all you need to bring is the original.

Fees

Fees for notarising documents at our office are $100 for one document and $50 per document for any additional documents, plus GST. The fee for Apostille is $250 plus GST, plus any government fees.
